A New Chapter

When the Janahi sisters Leena, Fayqa and Homa envisioned LEENAZ 6 years ago, it started with the vision to create beautifully created pieces that are unique in craft, quality and design.  This vision soon became an international phenomenon with designs that have re-invented the Arabian fashion staple the Abaya into wearable works of art. 

Today LEENAZ reached another milestone in its journey with the launch of its new collection VOL.I.  What does it stand for, you may ask? VOLUME I is a beginning, a starting point of an artistic journey that the LEENAZ woman will endeavor, and like every journey there are stops where we pause and collect our inspiration from.

VOL I’s artistic journey starts with the AZTEC EMPIRE, Arabian fashion pieces inspired by the South American Aztec culture and tribal arts.  The next stop is when you walk into a bustling city filled with modern architecture, rough textures, sharp lines and concrete hues this translates the inspiration behind GEO CUTS.  Then the LEENAZ woman goes into a NATURES DREAM, filled with whimsical wisps of fauna and flora adorning these abayas. The final stop is a time travel blast from the past which takes us to RETRO REWIND a nod to the rocking 80’s Abayas that rock the big sleeves, cassette decals and funky approach.
